Each year the festival presents juried works across genres and formats, including short narratives, documentaries, experimental and traditional animation, new media, and related moving-image practices.

Programs typically gather roughly a hundred works into thematic and genre-oriented screenings, with awards in competitive categories such as student prizes, audience choice, and Best in Show.
